Website error on itemJan 01, 2010 I did a search for Men's Mizuno and got a women's Mizuno instead. The product itself is nice but I keep getting the women's when I ask for men's. Notified Amazon but error was never fixed. Waited over 3 weeks and then bought product from another website.
Last model Not holding very wellDec 16, 2009 I have been buying Mizuno Wave Rider since #7 and I go through a couple of pairs during the racing season so I think I know this shoes a little bit. They always die the same way, with a very annoying crunching sound from the wave in the arch part. And is not only me because at a race once I passed by a woman so slowly that I could hear the sound and I said to her "gotta love those Mizunos" and she said "yeah", only I had not look at her shoes I just know the sound.
However I started having problems with my shoes about a month before the big race sop I bought a second pair and within two weeks it was doing the same thing. So I think is the shoe they are breaking down really fast now.
MIZUNO WAVE RIDER 11Oct 22, 2009 Awesome transaction and great price! Wore Mizuno Wave Rider 10 in Half Marathon earlier this year and purchased these for the 2010 race. Seem to be just as comfortable although not yet broke in as were the WR10's. Great deal on Amazon.com once again!
comfortable, lightweight, and airyAug 28, 2009 This is the first pair of mizunos I've purchased. I am using them as my Friday casual shoe at work and weekend duty for now. In this capacity, I have found the breathability of these shoes amazing. My feet are normally very hot. I did use them on one running expedition. The sole is more flexible than my new balance I am used to and the shoe is overall lighter. I had trouble keeping my stride efficient, but no problems with discomfort. I think it is more of a case of getting used to the shoes for me than an issue with the shoes. I think when these are my normal running shoes, then I will love them even more.
Comfy, functional & chicAug 25, 2009 The Mizuno Wave Rider was first recommended to me at a specialty running store and it turned out to be an excellent recommendation. This is the first time I've bought running shoes over the internet, so I was a bit nervous. I've now given the shoes a good try during my marathon training and they are everything I need.
