Great long distance running shoeOct 15, 2008
These are the most comfortable running shoes I have ever worn by far; I've had these shoes for well-over 300 miles and they are still comfortable to run long distances in. I have a normal arch with neutral footing - make sure you know what type of arch you have so you can find the shoes that fit your feet properly. The vented shoe style is superb, although it does make them hard to clean. I've run in these through all weather conditions and they hold up great through it all.
I'd highly recommend this shoe to anyone who wants to use it for long distance running and anyone else that just wants a comfortable shoe.

These running shoes are my son's favorite. I always look to Amazon to find just what he needs. The shoes are not always available at local stores in my area. Using Amazon is easy and quick...and I usually can find exactly what I need. Thanks Amazon!

Best shoe I've ever boughtJun 28, 2008
This my third pair of the exact same shoe. That's how much I like it. I'm prone to rolling my ankles and haven't done it once in the 3 years I've worn these shoes.

I love the Wave Rider 10. I found this pair on Amazon and jumped at it because Mizuno has upgraded to the next model (ie: 11). These are the best running shoe I have worn.

Simply stated, awesome. I run 5-6 miles a day, 5 times a week. Mizuno has never let me down. I actually prefer the WV9 over the WV 10. This updated classic features subtle improvements, so runners can expect a similar fit and feel to previous versions. The upper overlays have been repositioned to reduce irritation over the ball of the foot, which is especially nice for runners with bunions. The Rider's outsole uses carbon rubber in the heel and durable, raised pods in the high-abrasion areas of the forefoot. These pods also help with the shoe's cushioning. Recommended for lightweight runners with normal arches looking for a well-cushioned shoe with a touch of stability.
